Blasted White IZUMIYAMA TGW Plate
Designed by Shinichi Terauchi, this Riso Porcelain plate features a sculptural relief of Izumiyama rising from its surface, the mountain in Saga Prefecture where Japan's first porcelain was fired over 400 years ago. The "blasted" glaze technique gives the surrounding surface a matte, softly textured finish in TGW (Tera-Glaze White), letting the raised form read as both landscape and object.
