Product Details
The White Sprayed Lotus Plate by Riso Porcelain takes the form of a lotus leaf, its organic, wavy rim giving the piece a natural, flowing presence on the table. A thin white glaze is delicately sprayed over the surface, resulting in a light, refined finish.
Due to the thin white glaze and the unpredictable nature of the kiln firing, each plate may exhibit subtle variations in tone and small color spots where the glaze has reacted to the heat. These are natural characteristics of the craft, and not defects.
The Lotus Plate is also available in Blasted White, Moon Surface, and Golden Manganese, each bringing a distinct glaze character to the same form. Designed by Shinichi Terauchi, made in Arita, Japan.
