Yuko Ikeda Silver Platinum Matcha Bowl
This matcha bowl is finished with layers of silver and platinum that have been fired onto the surface. It's traditionally sized for Japanese tea or matcha bowl.
In her silver-glazed pieces, she intentionally applies a generous, uneven layer of silver to create a weathered, peeled effect. (Typically, silver glaze is applied thinly and evenly to prevent flaking.) By layering platinum along with the silver, she adds depth and richness to the surface.
Not dishwasher or microwave safe.
As each piece is handmade, slight variations in color, shape, and size may occur compared to the photographs.
